Oswego student makes Carthage College dean's list
Carthage College has named Brett Fern of Oswego, IL, to the dean's list for academic excellence during the Fall 2022 term.

Dean's list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

Local students named to Illinois Wesleyan University's dean's list
Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year consisted of 757 students from 28 states and 28 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As.
The following local students made the list:
- Taylor Tarver of Oswego, Illinois, a junior majoring in Marketing.
- Steven Watts of Oswego, Illinois, a senior majoring in Mathematics.
- Jessica Krol of Oswego, Illinois, a senior majoring in Theatre Design/Technology.

Morgan Brown from Oswego has been named to DePauw University's Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Oswego student travels to Honduras with Carthage College
Mary Harshberger of Oswego, traveled to Honduras with Carthage College for a neuroscience and biology course titled Biodiversity, Brains, and Behavior in January.
Offered during Carthage's popular J-Term, the study tour was led by professors Dan Miller and Paul Martino. A Carthage tradition since the early 1970s, these short-term study tours allow students to experience new cultures and ideas without committing to a full semester abroad.

Millikin University dean's list includes Oswego students
Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2022 semester.
Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempt to earn High Dean's List honors.
The students named to the Dean's List at Millikin University are listed in alphabetical order according to last name.
