Georgia Southwestern State University 2023 graduating class includes Oswego student

Michael Drennon of Oswego graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2023 Commencement Ceremonies held on Friday, May 12 in the Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. Drennon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.

Oswego student graduates from Missouri State University

Missouri State University awarded 2,953 degrees to students in spring 2023. The commencement ceremonies took place May 19, 2023, at Great Southern Bank Arena.

Collin Nelson of Oswego (60543) graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Construction Management. Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Local student graduates from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater

Rob Irby from Oswego, IL, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at spring commencement, held May 13, 2023.

More than 1,500 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. Irby graduated with the following degree: Business Administration - Master of Business Administration

Spring 2023 dean's list announced at Carthage College

Carthage College congratulates the students who have been named to the Dean's List in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement in Spring 2023, including these in Oswego:

• Adam Johnson of Oswego
• Mary Harshberger of Oswego
• Mia Baaske of Oswego

Dean's List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.

Augustana College's spring semester dean's list

Augustana College announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2022-23 spring semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Student from Oswego named to dean's list at Youngstown State University

Kiley Mitchell of Oswego, Illinois, majoring in Marketing, has been named to the Dean's List at Youngstown State University for Spring Semester 2023.

Dean's List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Fall semester.
