Oswego student named to University of Utah's fall 2021 dean's list

Creed Mccord, of Oswego, IL, was named to the University of Utah's Fall 2021 Dean's List. Mccord's major is listed as Mechanical Engg BME.

Mccord was among more than 9,600 students named to the Fall 2021 Dean's List at the U. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

Grace Pagone of Oswego named to fall Deans' List at Nebraska

Grace Pagone of Oswego has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year.

Pagone, a senior majoring in journalism, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

More than 6,700 students at Nebraska were named to the Deans' List for the fall semester.

Oswego student helps raise $1.3 million to benefit a children’s hospital

Ashleigh Meyer of Oswego, IL was one of more than 150 current University of Iowa students who served in leadership positions for the 28th annual student-led Dance Marathon which generated more than $1.3 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

Meyer served as Committee Member of the finance for Dance Marathon 28.

The final tally raised by the students was $1,361,184.28, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its history to more than $33 million.

"Dance Marathon will continue to create so many miracles for our families. I am so glad that we all got to be a part of it together. Thank you so much," said Anna Dodge, the executive director of "DM28," which transitioned to a virtual event just 30 days before DM's "Big Event" weekend, Feb. 4-5.

Kiley Mitchell named to Dean's List at Youngstown State University

Kiley Mitchell of Oswego, Illinois, has been named to the Dean's List at Youngstown State University for Fall Semester 2021. Mitchell is majoring in Business Administration at YSU.

Dean's List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Fall semester.

Millikin University announces fall 2021 dean's list

Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester.

Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean's List honors.
