Cooking With Herbs
Growing fresh herbs is one of the most inexpensive and delicious ways to make home-cooked meals even better.

Hilltop Gardeners Garden Club enlisted the help of Joanie Rocchi, horticultural expert from The Growing Place, to present “Growing and Cooking with Herbs” as everyone gears up for the growing season. The program will be on Thursday, April 13 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Little White School Museum, 72 Polk Street in Oswego.
Ms. Rocchi will give tips on how to successfully grow herbs from seedlings all the way through to the drying
process. Herbs, which can be started indoors on a windowsill, are also used to beautify the garden, whether woven into existing beds or added to containers. They provide a striking impact with flowers and fragrance.
