Cops Seek Info On Man Accused Of Child Porn

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public about a Sandwich man facing seven felony charges of possessing and distributing child pornography. Daniel Aldrich, 61, of the 0-50 block of Sandra Court in Little Rock Township, was arrested earlier this month after an investigation was sparked by a July 30 tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

"Detectives are continuing this investigation and others and are following up on leads provided by concerned citizens," the sheriff's office said. "If you have additional information regarding this subject, please contact us at detectives@co.kendall.il.us."

Aldrich faces two class X felony counts of dissemination of child pornography and five class 2 felony counts of possession of child pornography.

Aldrich, whose bail was set at $50,000, is due in court Thursday morning in Kendall County.
