Crash Reported At Downtown Oswego Intersection: Police

OSWEGO, IL — A crash occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Washington and Main streets in downtown Oswego, police said.

In an alert at 1:23 p.m., officers said drivers may want to avoid the area and find alternate routes until the scene is cleared. By 2:07 p.m., the roadway reopened.

It's unclear what caused the crash or if it resulted in injuries. Police did not respond to Patch's request for comment at the time of publication.
