Dairy Hut is Your Choice for Ice Cream

It’s ice cream season here in Oswego. Last week in Readers’ Choice, we asked you to tell us your favorite ice cream place in town. And you definitely did.

It was a bit of a pitched battle between and , but in the end, Dairy Hut put the cherry on top of its Readers’ Choice sundae. Here’s what you had to say about this Oswego staple.

“Love the Dairy Hut,” said Kristi Eberhardt. “Great food, owner and staff. Dairy Hut is a part of our summer memories!”

Someone calling himself Master Mike said, “I love their choices of ice cream and toppings.” Carol Anaski-Figurski was direct and to the point: “Excellent ice cream,” she said. And Sharon Stanton pointed out that Dairy Hut is a great place to go after baseball games.

The most enthusiastic comment came from Jill, which we have reproduced exactly below:

“Delish!!! My favorite is the large choco/peanut butter shake!!! OMG!! I couldn't wait for the Dairy Hut to open this spring....and now I'm there more than I should admit!! :~)”
