District 308 Announces Februrary PRIDE Winners
Employees, teachers and volunteers of the month were recognized by the Board of Education.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego School District 308 has announced the February winners of its PRIDE (Proudly Recognizing Individuals Demonstrating Excellence) Recognition Program at the Board of Education meeting on Monday, March 14, according to a release from the district.
February’s teachers of the month are Oswego East High School Special Education teacher Erik Aister and Fox Chase Elementary School fifth grade teacher Natalie Proczko.
Employees of the month are Elementary Math Implementation Specialist Amber Denbo and Churchill Elementary School Assistant Principal Casey O’Connell.

Volunteers of the month are Oswego East High School student Maggie Bruckner, Long Beach Elementary School and Cindy Owen, Brokaw Early Learning Center.
The PRIDE program allows the Board of Education to formally recognize the efforts of teachers, employees and volunteers who are engaged in exceptional work across School District 308.

Each month, the program recognizes two individuals from three separate categories: teachers, employees and volunteers. A committee made up of various district groups and organizations selects the winners, and committee members serve six-month terms.
If you know someone deserving of the award, you can nominate him or her using the link on School District 308’s website or via mail. Details for the nomination process are also listed on the website. Any School District 308 colleague, administrator, student, parent, community member or alumnus can make the nomination. Self-nominations are not accepted.
