When the voters in their respective states send a representative to Washington to represent them do the voters know if their representative are representing the voters interests or are they there in Washington doing the bidding of the hierarchy of their political parties and have long forgotten who sent them . Isn't this the problem that the American voters aren't being represented by those that they voted for and haven't any way to effect what goes in their name in the capital where the peoples business is being conducted. The sad state of affairs that the country is presently in certainly calls for new methods of citizen control over the conduct of our representatives who ignore their duties and responsibilities they owed to the citizens.
The ability of the citizens to recall our representatives and term limits would be the only effective way to remind our representative who they're working for, they seem to have forgotten who their bosses are, its apparent by the way things are going in this country that its way past time to let our representative know who their employers are and who they have to answer to.
