Domestic Battery, DUI, Fraud: Oswego Blotter

Incidents occurred between Dec. 12 and Dec. 17.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 12

Scott E. Bywater, 43, of the 100 block of Longbeach Rd. in Oswego, was charged with two counts of domestic battery.

Maxwell Black, 24, of Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence. The arrest occurred at Washington and Adams.

Dec. 13

Police took a report to assist the postal inspector after mail and other packages have been stolen from a mailbox.

Dec. 14

Police took a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of S. Madison. No arrests were made.

Arnold L. Dunem, 60, of the 400 block of Brookside Dr. in Oswego, was charged with assault and criminal damage to property.

A resident reported fraudulent credit card use at several businesses throughout Illinois.

Dec. 15

Diamante O. Holt, 20, of the 0-100 block of Whitney Way in Montgomery, was charged with retail theft. Holt allegedly stole $123.20 worth of merchandise from a business in the 2500 block of Route 34.

Dec. 17

Items were taken from Hobby Lobby located at 2402 Rt. 34 and returned for an in-store credit. The value of the items was put at $276.88.
