Domestic Battery, DUI, Retail Theft: Oswego Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Aug. 25

Bianca Torres, 19, of the 1300 block of Crab Tree Ct. in Naperville, was charged with domestic battery. The arrest occurred at Raintree and Ogden Falls Blvd.

Aug. 26

Lonnie Joseph Chambers, 64, of the 600 block of Churchill Ln. in Oswego, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, twice disobeying a traffic control signal, improper signal, improper lane usage, fleeing or attempting elude and driving while license revoked. The arrest occurred at Bridge and Main streets.

Aug. 28

Austin B. Norquist, 18, of the 900 block of Terrace Lake Dr. in Aurora, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. The incident occurred at Rt. 71 and Calumet.

Aug. 29

Police are investing a residential burglary in the 0-100 block of Marlin Dr. in Oswego where a weed eater, leaf blower and mountain bike were stolen.

Aug. 30

Alejandro Aguila, 18, of the 1900 block of Tall Oaks Dr. in Aurora, was charged with possession of cannabis under 10 grams, possession of paraphernalia and speeding. The arrest occurred at Douglas and Barnaby.

Sept. 1

Chris Carrillo, 25, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred at 2300 Rt. 34 and Fifth St. The value of the stolen merchandise was $106.

Taj I. Abdul Aziz, 22, of the 500 block of Fifth Ave. in Aurora, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to land. The arrest occurred at 2300 Rt. 34 and Fifth Street. The merchandise was valued at $30.44.

Matthew Craig Duvall, 34, of the 0-100 block of Afton Rd. in Montgomery, was charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred at his home in Oswego Township.
