Domestic Battery, Retail Theft, DUI: Oswego Blotter

Arrests occurred between March 12 and March 18.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


March 12

Alfred J. Evans, 35, of the 24300 block of Woodhall Ct. in Naperville, was charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred at Douglas Rd and Rt. 34.

March 13

Charles M. Larson, 52, of the 200 block of Beach St., was charged with driving under the influence. The incident occurred on Rt. 25 near Boulder Hill Pass and Glendale.

A 15-year-old Naperville resident was charged with domestic battery. The incident occurred at Rt. 34 and Douglas.

March 16

Tyrone M. Taylor, 26, of the 2000 block of Foxpoint Drive in Aurora, was charged with no insurance, suspended registration for no insurance, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving while license suspended. The incident occurred at 339 Douglas Rd.

Police took a report of a stolen iPod.

Police took a report of a residential burglary in the 300 block of Cascade Ln. Two bicycles were stolen out of the garage.

Police took a report of burglary to motor vehicle after it was discovered that miscellaneous maintenance equipment had been stolen from a truck parked in the 0-100 block of Stonehill in Oswego.

March 17

Oswego police are investing a retail theft at TJ Maxx, located at 3030 Rt. 34. Police say a female left the store with approximately $270 in merchandise.

A student at Plank Jr. High School was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

March 18

Xavier Santiago, 27, of the 300 block of N. Park Ave. in Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. Incident occurred at Douglas Rd. and Longbeach.
