Douglas Road Closes Due To Poles Downed In Thursday Storm
The road will remain closed until ComEd can respond and complete repairs, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said.
OSWEGO, IL — Douglas Road is closed Friday due to damage in Thursday's storm, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said.
Several power poles were downed, causing Douglas Road to be shut down between Wolf Road and Woolley Road, according to an alert.
The road will remain closed until ComEd can respond and complete repairs. Officials anticipate it to reopen Friday evening.

"In the meantime, we ask that drivers seek an alternate route when traveling in the area," officials said.
