Dramatic Structure Fire Burning In Oswego

People were asked to avoid the area, as water was being shuttled in due to a lack of nearby hydrants.

OSWEGO, IL — Firefighters were battling a blaze Sunday afternoon on Route 71 in Oswego, authorities said.

The Oswego Fire Protection District and many mutual aid agencies were on the scene of the structure fire, Oswego Firefighters Local 4773 posted on Facebook around 3:45 p.m. The post included a photo of flames and heavy smoke billowing from the building.
