EPEC308 would first like to thank everyone that attended the Embracing Dyslexia Screening, as well as those that stayed for the Q&A with the Movie's Creator and Director, Luis Macias.
If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, or you have a child that is struggling to read or write, and you weren't able to attend the screening, please visit their website for more information. The movie is available for viewing on their site, at no charge, or you can order a copy of the DVD by submitting your request online. In addition, Everyone Reading Illinois, provides regular monthly discussions in our area with the support of Celebrate Differences. Check out their website and calendar for details.

This month we will hear from Mary Redding, Director of Special Education for District 308, as she shares information regarding the Special Education Audit. Guest Speaker, Cory Mehnert is seeking membership assistance on a Service Project at Brokaw's Inclusive Playground; and EPEC308 will be sharing information on an upcoming Meet-n-Greet Play day for families.
