The Oswegoland Park District’s Limelight Theatre Company is excited to return with four new radio play adaptations of classic films and stories. First, we will dive into the high-stakes world of journalism and fame in New York City as two men try to waft the Sweet Smell of Success. Our version of this classic 1957 film starring Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis comes alive via an ensemble of “radio actors” who vocally portray multiple characters and a crack team of foley artists who create live sound effects.
Sweet Smell of Success will be performed one night only on Saturday, September 15th at 7pm at The Little White School Museum, located at 72 Polk Street in downtown Oswego. Tickets are $7 for Adults and $5 for Students/Seniors and they are available at the door. Mark your calendars for An Evening of Poe on October 20th, A Midnight Movie Double Feature on November 10th, and Arsenic and Old Lace on November 17th.
