Celebrate the holiday of love with your family by dropping in to enjoy a free, special “make and take” activity, “Victorian Valentines.” Families are invited to drop in any time on either Saturday or Sunday, Feb. 11-12, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., no pre-registration required. Just stop by to have some family fun.
There are many kinds of Valentine’s Day traditions, but most involve the exchange of a token or small gift with one’s Valentine. At one time, these tokens were hand-made Valentine cards.
Participants in “Victorian Valentines” will create their own handmade old-fashioned Valentine greetings. The activity is appropriate for children age 2 and up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
