The Oswego Police Department would like to remind the public to expect increased traffic congestion and delays in Oswego May 22-24 due to the Oswego Soccer Festival.
The games will be held at Prairiefest Park on the south side of Oswego High School. Motorists should expect delays in particular while traveling on Route 71, between Route 34 and Forest Avenue. Delays will also occur on Washington Street/Plainfield Road and Grove near this event.
The OPD strongly advise anyone not attending the Oswego Soccer Festival to consider alternate routes. Suggested alternate routes include using Route 34 through downtown Oswego to avoid Route 81.
