Fire Breaks Out at Home Attached to Horse Stable
No injuries to people or animals were reported.

A multi-story home under construction that was attached to a horse stable and riding arena caught fire early Monday morning, according to a release from the Oswego Fire Protection District.

Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Rance Road in unincorporated Oswego at around 6 a.m. Monday. Firefighters set up rural water tender operations to shuttle water to the scene. At around 7:50 a.m. the fire was brought under control, but hot spots were still being identified and extinguished.

The home received extensive fire damage, but the fire did not spread to the horse stable.
No injuries were reported to any people and all horses were safely evacuated to a nearby pasture by stable workers.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
