What: Fireworks show
Where: Prairie Point Park, 4120 Plainfield Road
When: 9:30 p.m. July 4 (Rain day is July 5)

What: U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Starlifter performance
Where: Venue 1012, 1012 Station Drive
When: 8 p.m. July 2 (with opener Ryan Argast, an American Idol contestant, starting at 6 p.m.).
During Starlifter's concert, the band will play popular music, as well as patriotic favorites. Attendees can bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages for this concert only, officials said.
During the fireworks show July 4, traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect on streets surrounding the park before and right after the show, officials said. Full details on where to park can be found online.
