Foster Homes Needed THIS WEEKEND!

It's cold outside! Will you help give them a warm place to stay?

These deserving dogs NEED FOSTER HOMES and Safe Haven Dog Rescue is reaching out to you, desperate for foster families!  They are arriving Saturday 1/30 in the morning and Sunday 1/31 in the late afternoon!

Donner - 3-4 years old and reported to be a 90 pound baby...sweet as can be. Tell your friends and family that he is looking for a foster home. We believe he will easily reach 100 pounds when he gains weight. He was found tied to a light pole with an electrical cord...He is neutered and up to date on all shots.

3 Poodle mixes who need to see better days! These 3 poodles were brought to a high kill shelter in KY. Safe Haven would like to bring these sweethearts to safety and a new life. They are matted and terrified in the shelter. So far, we have been told there is 1 male and 1 female. We are unsure of the gender of the third poodle at this time. They are all approximately 12 pounds.

Hogie is a beautiful 2 year old Lab mix (approximately 50 lbs.) who is looking for a place to crash!

Bailey is a beautiful 11 month old Lab/Golden Retriever mix. Her mom was a pure bred Black Lab and dad was a pure bred Golden Retriever. She has been living with our rescue partner in KY for 2 months now and she says she is a sweet girl!

Even better...While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something these doge desperately need) and a safe and warm place to lay their head until they find a forever home.

They are all also available as a foster to adopt...which means you foster them for a week or two while we assure they are ready to be adopted. Once they are released for adoption, you adopt your next family member!

We request that you have the ability to take your foster to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in North Aurora.

Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life, in fact, it will save it!

If you would be willing to let one of them crash at your house until they find their forever family, please email mailto:safehavendogsil@yahoo.com ASAP for a foster application or additional details.
