Free Oral Cancer Screenings In April At Oswego Practice

According to The Oral Cancer Foundation, 132 new people in the United States every day will be newly diagnosed with oral cancer. "Right now, one person will die from oral cancer every hour of the day," said Dr. Douglas Palmer of Kendall Pointe Dental. "Those numbers are staggering and we feel it's our duty to our patients and community to not only offer free oral cancer screenings, but to help build awareness and educate people about oral cancer."

During the month of April, Kendall Pointe Dental in Oswego will offer complimentary oral cancer screening using the VELscope® Vx Enhanced Oral Assessment System which is a handheld device that emits a harmless, bright blue light used to inspect the mouth and tongue.
