Gang Graffiti Spotted on Subdivision Signs

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call police.

Between Jan. 25 and Jan. 26 someone spray painted subdivision signs with gang graffiti and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office wants to know who.

In the first incident, the Henneberry Woods Subdivision sign located at Cherry Road and Grove Road in unincorporated Oswego was spray painted with gang graffiti sometime between 10 a.m. Jan. 25 and 9:26 a.m. Jan. 26, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. The report number is 2016-0267.

In the second incident, the Grove Estates Subdivision sign located at Grove Road and Roberts Drive in unincorporated Oswego was spray painted with gang graffiti during the same times and dates. The report number is 2016-0272.

Anyone with information on this or other crimes is urged to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the offenders.
