Gas Price Update: Price Per Gallon Now Near $6 In Oswego
The average price for gas in Kendall County was about $5.73 per gallon Wednesday. Here is where to find the least expensive gas in town.

OSWEGO, IL — The more time passes, the more painful it gets for Oswego residents to see the price of a tank of gas.
Prices in Illinois continue to skyrocket, with the average price for gas being $5.53 per gallon as of Wednesday, according to AAA. That's 40 cents more expensive than a week ago and about $1 — 94 cents, to be exact — more than a month ago.
At around $5.73 per gallon in Kendall County, gas prices were significantly above the state average.

Nationally Wednesday, the average was still under $5 at about $4.96 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest gas in Oswego is selling for $5.79 per gallon at BP, 2791 US Highway 34. Here is what other stations around town are charging:

- Shell at 1190 Route 34; $5.89 per gallon
