'The Greatest Showman' To Be Last Movie In The Park Thursday
Oswego's summer movie series is coming to a close this week at the Oswego Entertainment Center where the movie will start around 9 p.m.
OSWEGO, IL — After a summer of weekly outdoor movies, Oswego's Movies in the Park series is coming to a close Thursday with a showing of Michael Gracey's "The Greatest Showman."
The 2017 musical drama, starring Hugh Jackman and Zack Efron, depicts the life of P.T. Barnum, who founded the circus that would become the famous traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Moviegoers have the option to sit in their cars to watch the movie drive-in style — though available spots are first-come, first-served — or bring a chair or blanket to sit on the lawn at the Oswego Entertainment Venue, 1010 Station Drive.

The venue will open for seating at 6 p.m., and the movie will start around 9 p.m. Attendees are allowed to bring their own food and drinks, though alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
Food will also be available for purchase when the venue opens. The first 100 people to arrive will also receive $5 off their order of two tacos from Freddie's Off the Chain Catering Truck and a complimentary bottle of water, thanks to a community partnership with Metronet.
