Harvey Road Construction to Begin Sept. 21
A resurfacing of Washington Street is set to begin Sept. 28.

Geneva Construction will start work on Harvey Road on Monday, Sept. 21. The limits of this project are US 30 on the north and Wolfs Crossing on the south. The existing surface will be removed with pavement patching to follow. Pavement markings will be replaced after a new surface course is installed.
The road will remain open to traffic during construction. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic through the work zone. Work is scheduled to be completed by October 31.

The total construction cost of this project is $321,069.30 of which 75 percent will be paid for with federal funds.
The second project is the resurfacing of Washington Street between the new pavement on IL 71 and US 34. D Construction will start work on Monday, Sept. 28. The surface will be removed and replaced. Select sections of curb and sidewalk will be replaced. The road will remain open to traffic during construction. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic through the work zone. Work is scheduled to be completed by October 31.
