OSWEGO, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.
The Kendall County Health Department visited Portillo’s for a routine inspection May 4. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 90. Items out of compliance were:
- Floors on dry storage areas upstairs in need of cleaning.
- No hot water provided at handsink by grill.
- Handsink in veggie prep area not working.
- Dishwasher not meeting required contact time for sanitizer solution.
Portillo’s is located at 2810 Rt. 34 in Oswego.
