Health Inspection Report: Shu's Sushi

OSWEGO, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Kendall County Health Department visited Shu’s Sushi July 12 for a routine inspection. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 98. Items out of compliance were:

• Wiping cloths need to be stored in sanitizer and not on prep surface.
• Floor drains in the kitchen need cleaning.

The health department noted that the kitchen and sushi-making area were neat and tidy at the time of inspection. The inspector also noted gloves were worn when handling ready to eat foods.
