Health Inspection Report: Tuscan Tavern

Is it clean enough for you?

OSWEGO, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Kendall County Health Department visited Tuscan Tavern for a routine inspection Feb. 17. The restaurant received a sanitation score of 82. Some of the items out of compliance were:

  • Label all prepared foods in the cooler with the date prepared and the use by dates.
  • Cooler holding at 46 degrees. It should be at 41 or less.
  • All foods should be re-heated to 165 degrees.
  • Gloves should be worn when handling ready-to-eat foods

Another inspection March 10 shows that all critical violations were addressed.
