Help Bring Metra Service To Oswego
The area's latest comprehensive plan calls for extending the BNSF line into Oswego.
OSWEGO, IL — The Village of Oswego is urging residents to support bringing Metra service to the area by attending a June 26 open house the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning's latest regional comprehensive plan known as "ON TO 2050." The plan proposes improvements for the area including bringing BNSF rail line service to Oswego.
"Make your voice heard for the future of the region," the village said on Facebook. "Attend the ON TO 2050 open house on Tuesday, June 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Historic County Courthouse," 110 W. Madison St. in Yorkville.
