Hilltop Gardeners 50th Annual Plant Sale is May 7

On Saturday, May7 Hilltop Gardeners will host their Annual Plant Sale at Fox Bend Golf Course Pavilion, 3516 Route 34, Oswego from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine. The plant sale remains the garden club’s only fundraiser. Proceeds of the sale are used to beautify the Oswegoland area, offer scholarships and provide educational programs for anyone interested in gardening and nature, as well as many other projects.

In addition to the plant sale, there will be a bake sale, raffle and “white elephant” sale of garden-themed items. Esther Jamison, who chairs the event, said that the gift basket for the raffle has fifty items in it, including two gift cards and several garden items.
