Domestic battery
Kendall County Police report Matthew M. Matrypula, 38, of Alsip, was taken into custody for a domestic battery incident at 4819 W. Engle Road, 2C, Alsip at 9:30 a.m. May 21. He was charged with domestic battery, an adult felony.

DUI arrest
Kendall County Police report Roseanne L. Laskey, 39, of 1367 Clybourne St, Batavia was sentenced after being charged for Aggravated DUI for a third or subsequent time at 11:49 a.m. May 21.

Hit and run
Yorkville Police say a juvenile driving a 2003 four-door Pontiac was headed eastbound on Route 34 and Sycamore Road when the driver in the car behind failed to slow down, causing the front bumper to hit the Pontiac's rear bumper at 9:05 p.m. May 21. The driver who rear-ended the Pontiac drove away from the scene before police arrived. The young driver's Pontiac's rear bumper was heavily damaged. The crash is still under investigation.
Flower Incident
Oswego Police say officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Danbury Drive on a report of disorderly conduct. According to the police report from 7:30 p.m. May 21, a 42-year-old woman claimed an unknown female "pulled up a flower and stepped on it."
