A Holiday Workshop
Learn unique floral centerpiece and decorating tips for the upcoming holidays.
On Thursday, October 12, Hilltop Gardeners will gather for their monthly meeting at the Little White School Museum in Oswego. Katy Koonop, owner of Katydidit Flower Shop, will share her floral design tips in a holiday workshop.
Getting ready for the holidays can be a daunting task when it comes to transitioning from one holiday to the next. Katy will demonstrate how easy it can be to celebrate using flowers and greenery. The morning starts with refreshments from 9 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a short business meeting. The workshop will run from approximately 10 to 11:00 a.m.
Katydidit Flower Shop opened in March of 2008 and is located in Yorkville at the intersection of Routes 34 & 47. Everyone in the community is invited to attend this event. There is no cost and drop-ins are welcome. Anyone who would like more information about the garden club or the October program may email vgierhart@aol.com.
