
The Illinois Department of Transportation is scheduled to pave IL 71 between US 34 and Main Street in Oswego during the week of June 22.
IDOT will close Franklin Street on Monday, June 22 to facilitate construction in this area. Motorists should expect delays in the vicinity of Oswego High School and take alternate routes.
IDOT issued the following notice to the Village today:

“Over the next 6-8 weeks, the contractor will be working expeditiously to make up for lost work time due to the wet Spring we have been experiencing. During this time, the contractor may be working day or night depending on the weather conditions. The core hours will be from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. The contractor’s work effort may be noisy. The Illinois Department of Transportation regrets any inconveniences.”
