Intersection Off Wolf's Crossing Road Will Close Due To Utility Work
The intersection of Wolf's Crossing Road with Douglas Road is closing to all traffic for the weekend, Oswego officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — Due to utility work that needs to be completed, Wolf's Crossing Road at the west intersection with Douglas Road will close for the weekend starting Friday, Oswego officials announced.
Cars will not be able to access the area starting at 7 a.m. Friday. The road will be shut down to traffic until work is completed, which officials said should be no later than Monday.
Detour routes using Route 34 and Fifth Street will be posted in the area.

Village staff chose the dates in conjunction with Oswego Community School District 308's Easter break, officials said. Students have Friday and Monday off for Easter.
Starting April 5, utility work also reduced Wolf's Crossing Road, from Bluegrass Parkway to Douglas Road, to one lane. The lane closure was expected to last about a week, Patch reported.
