Kendall County CROP Hunger Walk

Mark your calendars for the Kendall County CROP Hunger Walk to be held on Sept.24th, 2017. We will start with lunch and registration at 1:00pm, along with activities for the kids. Come make new friends! Enjoy the afternoon with 12 area churches and the community coming together to walk, at 1:30 (approx.3mi) on Waubonsie Trail. We will start and end at Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 Rt.25, Oswego, IL. We walk rain or shine! In 2016 we raised $10,530.42 and had 159 walkers. In 2017 our goal is $15,000 and 200 walkers. Please help us reach this goal!

Kendall County and Aurora join over 2,000 communities across the United States to help end hunger one step at a time, both around the corner and around the globe. CROP Hunger Walks support the international relief and developmental work of Church World Service. Additionally, the Kendall County CROP Hunger Walk will support the efforts of the Kendall County Community Food Pantry, Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry and Sandwich Board to eradicate hunger in our communities.

CROP Hunger Walks are making a big difference worldwide, ensuring that more children reach their 5th birthday. Church World Service is teaching sustainable ways to grow food and provide additional sources of food and income to families facing extreme challenges.
