Kendall County Fair Golf Outing June 15

The entry deadline is June 8.

YORKVILLE, IL — There is still time to sign up to spend the day outdoors golfing and later enjoying a steak dinner, all while supporting the local fair organization.

The annual Kendall County Fair Golf outing will be Wednesday, June 15 with tee off at noon at Bliss Creek Golf Course in Sugar Grove. Prizes will be offered for first scramble, mixed team or women’s team, hole-in-one on all par threes, closest to pin, longest drive, longest putt and more.

Funds generated by the outing are used for operation of the Kendall County Fair Open & 4-H Shows. Golf, including dinner, cart, and 18 holes, and a steak buffet dinner is $90 per person. If you don’t golf, dinner tickets also are available for $20. Entry deadline is June 8.

The Kendall County Fair and 4-H Shows will be August 4 to 7 this year, and the fairgrounds are located at Highpoint Road and Route 71, about one mile west of Routes 71 and 47.
