Kendall County Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Identity Theft

The following information was compiled from various releases from the Oswego, Yorkville and Montgomery Police Departments. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Oswego
- Jeremain Pierre Taylor, 33, of Aurora, ran from his vehicle after he was stopped by police. Taylor was apprehended and charged with driving under the influence, obstructing, vehicle having only one headlight, impeding the flow of traffic and failure to signal.
- Police are investigating a theft of jewelry from a home on Sparkle Court. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oswego Police Department.
- Police took a report of a purse stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Sherwood Court in Oswego. Credit cards from the purse were later used in Oswego, Yorkville and Plano.

- An unknown male subject left a business with two 12-packs of beer without paying. Suspect dropped the beer outside the business.
- Someone reported that accounts were opened in their name. The victim does not know who opened the accounts and did not give anyone permission to open accounts. The victim’s name, address and social security number were used to commit this crime.
Montgomery
- Victim reported they purchased an iPhone 6 advertised on the Internet for $350. When they went to activate the phone, they were informed the phone was reported stolen.
- Unknowns suspect(s), stole lawn/patio furniture valued at $108 from an outside display rack in front of a business.
- Unknown suspect placed a 10-person tent valued at $139 in a cart and left the store without paying for it.
