Kendall County Roads Temporarily Close For Production Film Crews
Drivers should expect some delays and road closures along Route 47 while film crews work Wednesday.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — A production film crew is working in Kendall County Wednesday, and some roads are temporarily closed as a result, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office is working along with the Yorkville Police Department to monitor the area where crews will be filming "Justified: City Primeval," the reboot of a two-time Emmy-winning FX show called "Justified," according to Reel Chicago.
Starting Wednesday, crews are shooting episodes one and two of the Detroit-set show that stars Timothy Olyphant, Reel Chicago reported.

Some sections of thoroughfare will be temporarily closed, while others will close for about five minutes at a time. Police said drivers should expect delays until about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

- From 8:30 a.m. to noon, traffic will be stopped intermittently for no more than five minutes at a time along Route 47, between Corneils and Galena roads.
- From 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Galena Road, between Little Rock and Rock Creek roads, will be temporarily closed.
- From 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Beecher Road, between Galena and Corneils roads, will be temporarily closed.
"We ask that you plan accordingly and use alternative routes if necessary," officials said in a Facebook announcement. "We appreciate your cooperation and understanding."
