KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announces Patrol Deputy Tyler Giannotti as Employee of the First Quarter. He was nominated by a supervisor of the Patrol Division for his exemplary performance.
Deputy Giannotti has been a Patrol Deputy with the Sheriff’s Office since February of 2021. Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Giannotti was a dispatcher with the KenCom Public Safety Dispatch Center. Since joining the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Giannotti has provided exemplary service to the Sheriff’s Office and our community. He is highly motivated and is constantly involved in calls for service. In the first quarter alone, Deputy Giannotti made nine (9) DUI arrests. Deputy Giannotti, along with two other Patrol Deputies, was also involved in rescuing two citizens and a dog from a residential structure fire. In this incident, Deputy Giannotti disregarded his own safety trying to save the lives of others. Deputy Giannotti has been a positive influence to our new Patrol Deputies and goes out of his way to teach them skills necessary to be successful police officers. He represents the Sheriff’s Office in the highest regards and has proven to be a great benefit to our agency and our County.
