Kendall County Sheriff Office Hires New Corrections Deputy
Before joining the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, Keith McLain worked at the Sheridan Correctional Center for 7 years.

KENDALL, COUNTY — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. Keith McLain was sworn in on Monday by Sheriff Dwight Baird.

Deputy McLain studied Criminal Justice at Illinois Valley Community College. He worked at the Sheridan Correctional Center for 7 years ultimately achieving the rank of Sergeant before joining the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. He also served in the United States Army Reserve for six years.
Deputy McLain will be paired with experienced field training officers for a rigorous 11-week training program.
