Kendall County Sheriff Office Launches New Activity Dashboard

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Sheriff’s Office is launching a new Activity Dashboard that will display Sheriff’s Office activity and calls for service categories along with citations, and arrests on the Sheriff’s Office webpage. It is the fundamental philosophy of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office that transparency is a crucial component necessary in building and maintaining a strong partnership with our community. The “Activity Dashboard” is available on the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office webpage under the “Transparency” tab or by following this link.

The dashboard furthers this philosophy of transparency by allowing for quick and convenient access to the most up-to-date information possible about the day-to-day operations of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The information is refreshed every five minutes, and as this program develops additional categories will be added including instances in which force is used and where deputies provide crisis intervention services to community members.

"I strongly believe in being as transparent as possible with our community," Sheriff Dwight Baird said. "It has always been a priority of the Sheriff’s Office to build and maintain public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and community collaboration. The Sheriff’s Office is making this information available on our website as part of our ongoing effort to further these priorities."
