Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Announces Employee of the Third Quarter

Kendall County, IL (October 27, 2021, 2:30 PM)

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announces Deputy Zachary Schmitt as Employee of the Third Quarter. Deputy Schmitt was nominated by a member of the KCSO Operations Division for his exemplary performance. The KCSO employee recognition program is focused on recognizing employees for the great work they perform. This program helps identify those employees that deserve special recognition whenever his/her duties are performed in an exemplary manner. Citizens may also be recognized under this program for an act that deserves recognition.

Deputy Schmitt has been with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office since April of 2009 and is currently assigned to the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. Deputy Schmitt was selected for Employee of the Third Quarter because of his commitment to excellence, dedication to service, and leadership ability. During this quarter Deputy Schmitt has taken on the responsibility of leading the Sheriff’s Office training curriculum for the last several months in addition to his day-to-day commitments to the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.   Deputy Schmitt worked diligently to develop the training curriculum and successfully implemented it during the Sheriff’s Office’s monthly training programs.  The philosophy of the Sheriff’s Office is that training is a crucial aspect of modern law enforcement, and Deputy Schmitt has worked to ensure the training received by the members of the Sheriff’s Office is well thought out and effectively presented.  Deputy Schmitt has proven to be a great asset to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
