Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Donates Retired Squad  to Oswego Township

Kendall County, IL (October 7, 2021, 5:00 PM)

On October 1, 2021, Oswego Township Supervisor Joe West picked up a squad car that was recently retired from the KCSO fleet.  The squad car was donated to Oswego Township and will be used by the Oswego Township Code Enforcement Officer who is responsible for enforcing the township’s ordinances.

Sheriff Baird said, “These interagency partnerships are vital and demonstrate how government can work together to support each other and the citizens within our community.  By donating this retired squad we are able to support a local government organization and at the same time lessen the burden on the taxpayers within the county.  This squad car has been used for some time to serve the residents of Kendall County and will continue that tradition of service to the residents of Oswego Township.”
