Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Hires New Corrections Deputy

Kendall County, IL (October 15, 2021, 10:45 AM)

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. Dalton Misener was sworn in on October 12, 2021, by Undersheriff Bobby Richardson to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. 

Deputy Misener studied at Aurora University where he earned a degree in business administration.  He worked in the Security Department at Morris Hospital before being hired by the Sheriff’s Office.  

Deputy Misener will be attending the five-week Basic Corrections Training Academy which will begin on October 18th.  Upon completion of the academy, Deputy Misener will be paired with an experienced field training officer for a rigorous 11-week field training program.
