Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Hires New Corrections Deputy

Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Hires New Corrections Deputy

Kendall County, IL (October 21, 2021, 12:15 PM)

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. Austin Cinotto was sworn in on October 21, 2021, by Sheriff Dwight Baird to fill a vacancy in the Corrections Division. 

Deputy Cinotto studied at Western Illinois University where he earned a degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration.  He worked at the Illinois Department of Corrections for two years as a Corrections Officer and three years at the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer before being hired by the Sheriff’s Office.  

Deputy Cinotto will be paired with an experienced field training officer for a rigorous 11-week field training program.
