2021-2405/2021-2406, Traffic Crash with Injury/Driving while License Suspended: On 08/30/21 at 5:04 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries on Millbrook Road at IL Route 71, in Fox Township. The driver, Enrique Martinez, a 37-year-old male from the 700 block of Rock Street, Plano was transported to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich by Newark EMS for non-life-threatening injuries. Martinez was cited for driving while license suspended and released with a notice to appear in court.

2021-2410, Identity Theft: On 08/30/2021 at 11:32 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Oswego Township for a report of an identity theft. The investigation is ongoing.

2021-2414, No Valid Driver’s License: On 08/30/21 at 4:47p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding, 87 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, at US Route 52 and O’Brien Road in Seward Township. Maximo Aparicio-Sanchez, a 30-year-old male from the 4900 block of Weber Drive in Rolling Meadows, was cited for no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and speeding.  

2021-2417, Aggravated Battery: On 08/30/2021 at 7:52 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Kendall County Jail for report of an aggravated battery.  Darius J. Murphy, a 21 year old male from the 4700 block of W. Arthington in Chicago who is currently incarcerated at the Kendall County Jail, threw a liquid on a deputy assigned to the Corrections Division.  A felony charge of aggravated battery was approved and Murphy remains in custody.
