2021-3190, Battery: On 11/10/21 at 11:25 a.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of W. Fox St. in Kendall Township for a report of a battery.  After investigation, James Ihssen, a 43-year-old male from the 13000 block of Foxcroft Dr. in Aurora, was placed under arrest for battery.  He was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

2021-3193, Theft of Vehicle Parts: On 11/10/21 at 11:57 a.m., deputies responded to a the 0-99 block of US Route 30 in Oswego Township for a report of a theft of catalytic converters.  This matter is under investigation.

2021-3196, Aggravated Battery: On 11/10/21 at 2:40 p.m., deputies responded to the Kendall County Jail for a report of an Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer.  The incident is under investigation.

2021-3198, Harassment Through Electronic Communications: On 11/10/21 at 7:19 p.m., deputies responded to the 200 block of E. Liberty St. in Newark for a subject who was receiving unwanted text messages.  This matter is under investigation.

2021-3200, In State Warrant: On 11/10/21 at 9:57 p.m., deputies responded to the 1000 block of US Route 30 in Oswego Township for a report of a disturbance.  While investigating this incident, contact was made with Ilsce Meraz-Chavez, a 29-year-old female from the 500 block of Carriage Dr. in West Chicago, who was found to have a warrant for her arrest.  Meraz-Chavez was taken into custody on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear driving while license suspended.  Meraz-Chavez’s bond was set at $3,000 with 10% to apply.  Custody of Meraz-Chavez was transferred to a deputy from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
