2021-3164, Speeding: On 11/07/21 at 2:54 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Wooley Road in the area of Douglas Road in Oswego Township. After investigation, James Guerine, a 46-year-old male from the 24,000 block of Kennedy Circle Plainfield, was cited for 99 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and no proof of insurance.  James Guerine was released on scene with a personal recognizance.

2021-3164, Speeding:

2021-3165, No Valid Driver’s License: On 11/07/21 at 4:09 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 31 near Albright Road in Oswego Township for improper registration. After investigation, Jose Alonso-Fernandez, a 27-year-old male from the 2700 block of Rosehall Lane in Aurora, was cited for driving without a license and no proof of insurance. Alonso-Fernandez was released on scene with a personal recognizance

2021-3168, Illegal Transportation of Cannabis: On 11/07/21 at 9:15 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 47 and Route 30 for improper lane usage.  Joshua Adams a 37-year-old male from the 400 block of E. Walnut St. in Oglesby was arrested for Illegal Transportation of Cannabis.  Adams was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
