2021-2792, Aggravated Battery: On 10/3/2021 at 11:08 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Kendall County Jail for report of an aggravated battery.  Jaquarance C. Handley, a 32-year-old male from the 900 block of Bluebell Circle in Joliet who is currently incarcerated at the Kendall County Jail, threw a substance on a deputy assigned to the Corrections Division.  A felony charge of aggravated battery was approved and Handley remains in custody.

2021-2793/2794, DUI/Possession of Controlled Substance: On 10/3/21 at 11:17 p.m., sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive in Oswego Township. The driver of the vehicle, Omar Gutierrez, a 26-year-old male from the 100 block of Dolores Street in Oswego, was arrested for driving under the influence. Gutierrez was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and endangering the life of a child.  Gutierrez was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

2021-2795, Burglary to Motor Vehicle:  On 10/4/21 at 1:31 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Audrey Avenue, Kendall Township for a report of a burglary to motor vehicle.  The case is under investigation. 

2021-2797, Leaving the Scene of an Accident:  On 10/4/21 at 1:42 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 12600 block of Galena Road, Little Rock Township for a single vehicle accident.  The driver of the vehicle departed the scene and was located by deputies a short time later.  Alberto L. Ochoa-Perez, a 31-year-old male from the 500 block of Dearborn Street in Plano was taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident.  Ochoa-Perez was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
